Terroir Históric pays tribute to the nine villages that paid tribute to the Prior of the Escaladei Monastery, the monks who introduced viticulture to Priorat. The pillars of Terroir al Lìmit are: the culture of the territory, an organic viticulture with traditional production of the native varieties of Priorat. A return to the origins that looks to the future, with the idea of showing future generations a unique wine culture.
Vineyards located in Bellmunt, Gratallops, El Lloar, Escaladei, Poboleda, Porrera, Torroja, Vilella Alta, Vilella Baixa. Located between 350 and 800 meters of altitude.
The grapes are introduced, without stripping, into cement tanks. Lightly trodden, it closes and waits for the fermentation to occur spontaneously. As little as possible is intervened, there are no pump-overs, the wine is made as an infusion of grapes.
The wine rests 6 months in the cement tanks.
